New Workshops!

1-Eating for Wellness
This interactive workshop will feature the major components for healthy eating and lifestyle. This will include what and how much to eat of each food group based on gender, age and level of activity. Levels of activity and ways to increase activity will be included. Attendees will be provided with a daily guide specific to their nutritional needs.


2-Nutrients & Your Body
Are carbohydrates the enemy? What about fats? Should you eat more protein to be healthy? Learn about what these nutrients do for your body, what types to eat, and how much is too much.



3-Relieving Stress ~ Living a Healthy Lifestyle
Learn how stress can influence your health and your eating habits? We will experience a variety of methods for relieving stress and keeping it at bay. This workshop will include the principles of living a healthy lifestyle and how to gradually include them in everyday life

4-True Empowerment ~ Label Reading
Do you know what is in the foods you eat and beverages you drink? We will learn the correct way to read product labels and how the industry tries to fool you. We will discuss the ingredients that are in the foods you eat everyday that can cause cancer, heart disease and promote insulin resistance.


5-Healthy Meals At Home or Dining Out
This interactive workshop will involve planning healthy meals and snacks for one person or for a family. We will also experience how to tackle restaurant menus and dining out.



6-Nutritional Supplements ~ Are They For You?
The nutritional supplement market is a multi-million dollar industry, but are they good for you? This workshop will cover what supplements may be good for you and which ones to be careful of. We will discuss the amount of vitamins, minerals or other supplements to take and what supplements could interfere with certain common medications.



7-Activity ~ The Secret Ingredient to Wellness
Exercise can be a dirty word to many. This workshop will explain a variety of ways to include or increase activity within the daily routine without the inconvenience. We will also cover how much activity is recommended for different age groups and how to prepare for activity.




8-Special Nutrition for Health Issues
This workshop will cover nutrition for obesity, heart disease, hypertension, diabetes, and high cholesterol. We will also discuss how to interpret lab values. Attendees may bring their recent lab values to class. The lab values will be kept private to each attendee and not discussed among the class. *Attendees may pre-register for a private 30-minute consultation with the dietitian to review lab values and personalized eating regiment.


The Influence of Food & Health

This interactive workshop will look deeply at why we choose the foods we eat and what signals us to eat and stop eating.

Stress, Food, & Balance

Did you ever wonder why you crave carbohydrates when you are stressed out? Discover why and what you can do.

Pricing & Scheduling
Each one-hour workshop includes a 20-30 minute question & answer session.
A deposit of 20% of total cost is required for scheduling. Deposit will be retained if one or more workshops are changed or cancelled within 30-days of scheduling. Thirty days notice is requested for scheduling.

Price does not include cost for copies of hand-out materials. Copies can be done at the workshop site for no additional charge if the site has the equipment and paper available.
Personalized Nutrition Therapy &
Health Coaching
Seminars may be turned into weight loss programs simply by adding personalized nutrition therapy and health coaching sessions. Private 30-minute sessions are available on site by appointment. Appointments can address all topics related to personal nutrition such as weight loss, medical nutrition therapy (i.e.: diabetes, heart disease, high cholesterol, obesity, kidney disease, cancer, etc.), eating disorders, food allergies, and general nutrition. Clients are asked to complete a past medical and weight/eating history as well as to bring along recent lab sheets if available. Sessions may also focus on general healthy living practices to achieve the desired balance of mind, body and spirit. Sessions can be scheduled along with seminars to complement the educational experience provided.

*Follow-up consultations may also be scheduled.
